2019 Atlantic Provinces Autism Conference - Call for Posters

Later this fall, the College of Extended Learning will be playing host to the 2019 Atlantic Provinces Autism Conference, which aims to bring together contributors to the field for two days of informative, thought provoking sessions and keynote addresses by experts in the assessment, treatment, and support of individuals on the autism spectrum.

As part of the two day event, the conference is inviting poster submissions from graduate students  whose research aligns with the mission and theme of the conference.

  • Mission: To disseminate behaviourally-based research and empirically supported practices in the assessment, treatment, and support of individuals on the autism spectrum amongst families, practitioners, researchers, and governmental agencies. The mission also aims to enrich the quality of life of those on the autism spectrum and their families in the Atlantic Provinces

  • Theme: Breaking Barriers Building Understanding

Posters should be 4’ x 3’ maximum. A presenting author is required for every poster submission.

Submissions must demonstrate that the work has scientific merit and is well advanced. Data-based posters, which require a graph or chart of data, will be given preference.
