Interested in growing your professional skills? MITACS has the solution!

MITACS works with institutions like UNB to provide professional skills development to students free of charge!

By taking advantage of this program, grad students will have access to courses which will focus on growing networking skills, improving your communication, developing your presentation skills and more!

Interested in learning more about the MITACS Training Program? Check out their newly launched EDGE portal where you can create an account, browse workshops and register for the ones that spark your interest!

The next available workshop is scheduled for January 29 and will help you improve your Time Management!

To get started on EDGE, follow the steps below:

  • Visit https://edge-reg.mitacs.ca and click on ‘Create an Account’ to enter your details

  • Select your Learner Affiliation on the EDGE Registration Portal

  • Carefully select the current Mitacs Program AffiliationClick on ‘Catalog’ on the home dashboard

    • If they are not a Mitacs Intern or program participant select ‘General’
  • Filter for ‘Instructor Led Course’

  • Look for the course you want to register for (Time Management) and click on ‘Enroll’ followed by ‘Choose Session’

  • You will be redirected to a calendar. Please click on ‘View Next Available Session’ and click ‘Enroll’.

  • After signing up, they can register by doing the following:
