Research title: Migration and Indigenous contexts of Mathematics Education (MINE): Changing storylines with strength-based pedagogies.

The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) 10th annual Storytellers Challenge asks postsecondary students to inspire audiences with a research story of how their SSHRC-funded research is making a difference in 300 words or 3 minutes.
Finalists receive $3,000 and a chance at one of the final five spots, which comes with an additional $1,000. The Final Five winners will be announced at the Congress for the Humanities and Social Sciences on May 29, 2023 following a live showcase of their storytelling skills at York University.
