UNB Law to Host New Brunswick Restorative Justice Symposium

Join us on Nov. 7 and 8, 2022, for the New Brunswick Restorative Justice Symposium. Developed in partnership between UNB Law and the New Brunswick Department of Justice and Public Safety, this two day event will be a forum to discuss the benefits of restorative practices from all angles to the community, persons harmed, persons responsible for causing harm and the Justice system at large.

We are excited to welcome an impressive group of keynote speakers: Hon. Malcolm Rowe, Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, Jennifer Llewellyn, Professor of Law and Chair in Restorative Justice (Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University), Hon. Graydon Nicholas, Chancellor of St. Thomas University, former Lieutenant-Governor and former Provincial Court Judge and Fritzi Horstman, Founder and Executive Director, Compassion Prison Project.
