If you live in the Saint John area, or visit the city often, you might have recently noticed the emergence of monthly gatherings of a diverse group of people, with a common goal.
Quest-SJ, a group made up of researchers, academics, healthcare professionals, students and other stakeholders, is an interdisciplinary group who meets monthly to work towards the common goal of building capacity and collaboration in qualitative research in the broader context of healthcare.
Group members from a variety of backgrounds, including nursing, business, sociology and medicine to name a few, gather at these monthly meetings to share expertise, resources, promote opportunities for networking and interdisciplinary work, and support scholastic and professional growth of all levels of students.
Meetings are formatted to allow room for hot topic discussion, member presentations and off-topic impromptu chat that may not quite fit into the normal agenda.
Do not live in Saint John? No problem! The group welcomes visitors from other parts of the region who are able to make the commute.
