The UNB Faculty of Law is thrilled to announce a $1,000,000 gift from Wayne Carson (LLB), a graduate of the Class of 1990.
Wayne’s transformative gift will help shape UNB Law’s future. It will support the growth of the law school, creating new programs that will help us attract and retain the best students and position UNB Law as one of the top law schools in Canada.
“I am incredibly proud to give back to UNB, an institution that means so much to me and has profoundly shaped my success. The Faculty of Law has an incredible vision for the next decade—meticulously crafted and inspiring. I am honoured to play a role in its realization.”
Wayne is a two-time graduate of UNB, earning his civil engineering degree in 1987 and his law degree in 1990. Throughout his impressive career, he has established himself as a leader in both fields. As President of Kilmer Infrastructure Developments Inc., he leads Kilmer’s business platforms in public-private partnerships and real estate development.
Wayne is a champion of UNB. His personal and professional commitment has been unwavering. He supports significant scholarships celebrating academic excellence in both the Faculty of Law and Engineering. He currently serves on UNB’s Board of Governors as well as UNB Law’s Campaign Cabinet, Dean’s Advisory Council and the Board for UNB’s Off-site Construction Research Centre.
This $1M gift, like that of fellow alumnus Earl Brewer, stands as the largest donation ever made by a UNB Law graduate.
Please join us in extending our sincere gratitude to Wayne for his extraordinary generosity and dedication to the future of UNB Law.
