Since its establishment, the Fredericton Chapter of CFUW has had a goal to enlarge and deepen educational interest, to promote friendship among university graduates and to stimulate interest in and action on the problems of the day.
One of the first milestones achieved by the group was establishing a series of scholarships, specifically for female students, to promote and support the continuing education of our future's leaders.
Two of these scholarships were created specifically for graduate students at the University of New Brunswick, which aim to support female graduate students working towards a research based degree.
