UNB Saint John hosted its THINK PINK day on Saturday October 1st, 2016. Seawolves Soccer teams hosted a victorious day of matches vs. Saint Thomas University. Our men's team dominated with a 4-0 win and our women's team did the same with a 3-1 win! Dressed in their Pink Seawolves shirts our athletes helped raise funds and awareness by selling Raffle tickets, barbeque and baked goods all in support of a fantastic cause! Breast Cancer will affect 1 in 9 Canadian women during their lifetime. On October 1st, 2016 UNBSJ Men's and Women's Soccer will host Saint Thomas University in support of raising awareness of Breast Cancer. Be there, THINK PINK, support! Donations will be accepted.

The Seawolves wrapped up their 3rd Annual Think Pink events this past Sunday evening. With the help of the student-athletes, the Seawolves were successful in raising over $1,100 to go directly to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. The money was raised via a bake sale, tickets sold on a raffle basket, and a BBQ at the Think Pink soccer games. This weekend will mark the 3rd Annual UNB Saint John Think Pink weekend put on by the Student Athletic Advisory Council. On October 4th, 2015 all six UNB Saint John Varsity teams set out to the streets of Saint John to volunteer for the CIBC Run for the Cure. The teams directed walkers and runners throughout the entire route, and were at the 3km mark to hand out water to the participants. On top of being university students, varsity athletes who train at least once a day, and living a normal social life; the UNB Saint John Seawolves find time in their busy schedules to help out in our community!
