Happening November 19th - 21st!

The School of Graduate Studies is pleased to offer the opportunity to attend the GPDN virtual career symposium. UNB is a sponsoring institution and so interested graduate students and postdoctoral fellows can register through Eventbrite.

The Graduate and Postdoctoral Development Network is hosting a virtual career symposium for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows aimed at professional development and career exploration.  Presentations by GPDN members and invited experts cover topics including inspirational keynotes, career self-assessments, resumes, informational interviews, and networking.

The 2024 Career Symposium runs from November 19 to November 21st. The Symposium will feature a keynote address by Dr. Joe Kim, a cognitive psychologist from McMaster University, who will present on "The psychology of focusing on what matters". The keynote will be followed by a session on values from Lorna MacEachern, McGill University.
