The School of Graduate Studies offers two travel scholarships aimed at promoting travel for research or study abroad for graduate students.
UNB Associated Alumnae Travel Award
Are you a female grad student looking to research or attend a conference outside of the Maritime Provinces this year? Apply now for your chance at one of two $500 travel awards.
Be sure to submit the application form to sgsaward@unb.ca no later than March 31, 2025.
Pam and John Little Overseas Scholarship
The Pam and John Little Overseas Scholarships are open to UNB masters and Doctoral students enrolled in any area to support periods of intensive research or study in the UK which will benefit the student and their program of study.
These scholarships are valued at up to $15,000 annually, and can be held in conjunction with other travel awards.
Travel must be planned for the summer or fall in the following year.

Eaton Graduate Fellowships
The Fredrik and Catherine Eaton Graduate Studies Fellowship Program offers and opportunity for Graduate students to travel to Queen's University Belfast for up to 6 months of study.
The Fredrik and Catherine Eaton Fellowships are open to Masters and Doctoral students enrolled in any program on the Fredericton or Saint John campus. The Fellowships will be valued at up to $10,000 each per year and may be used for activities at Queen's University Belfast, including:
Research or study in one or more laboratories or institutions;
Course work;
Collaboration with a distinguished faculty member in the applicant’s field;
Travel and accommodation; and
Presenting papers or posters at academic conferences.
