Congratulations to Taylor McAulay from Psychology (Fredericton) for being selected as one of the Top 25 SSHRC Storytellers finalists!

Research title: Adolescent Sport Dropout: A Longitudinal Study of Barriers to Play and Effects of Dropout.

The 2024 SSHRC Storytellers Challenge asks postsecondary students to craft a research story in up to 300 words or three minutes, demonstrating how SSHRC-funded resrearch is making a difference in the lives of Canadians. The top 25 finalists receive $3,000 and a chance to be named a Final Five winner with an additional $1,000.
We wish Taylor luck as her live storytelling skills will be evaluated in the Storytellers Showcase at the Science Writers and Communicators of Canada Conference in Saskatoon, Monday May 4, 2024. The Final Five winners will be announced following the showcase.
