A surprising twist announced during the season seven premiere of Big Brother Canada tasked our country with the power to vote one of two "secret assets" into the game as the 15th house guest. On the March 7 episode, UNB young alumna Cory Kennedy (BSc’12) was successfully revealed as our nation’s choice.
A Sussex-local, Kennedy studied marine biology and chemistry at UNB Saint John, graduating in 2012. Now working as an elementary school math teacher, Kennedy's Big Brother Canada video describes her as a tough competitor with the smarts, athleticism and social skills to make it far in the game.
Canada voted for Kennedy over fellow-competitor Holly Noseworthy, an armoured guard from Newfoundland. Cory is the only contestant from New Brunswick this season. Before officially joining the game, she was tasked with completing a "secret mission" of securing three, final-two alliances within 24 hours. Kennedy successfully completed the mission, avoiding eviction from the house and securing immunity for the next week.
Root for fellow UNB alumna, Cory Kennedy, during this season of Big Brother Canada!
