Without a doubt, living in residence is one of the best ways to get involved in campus events and make new friends while navigating a new space or even a new country for international students. It’s also a great opportunity to start or advance your sustainable efforts with a wider community.

As you pack for your move, even if this isn't your first year at UNB, I wanted you to keep in mind that you should think about your sustainable options as you pack. You have the chance to foster a community engaged in sustainability programs and activities, and together we can make a sustainability minded community.

This is my list of items to pack in preparation for your journey ahead. I created this list to help you bring only what you need so you can reduce waste, expenses, and your environmental impact on campus. Before buying anything new, look around your home and only take note of the items missing from the list. This will also ensure you have a much quicker packing and unloading process once you arrive on campus.
