On the Classification of Certain Inductive Limits of Real Circle Algebras and Multiplicativity of Certain Schur Operators

This dissertation is divided into two parts. In the first part, I classify simple unital real C*-algebras that are inductive limits of certain real circle algebras. The invariant consists of certain triples of real K-groups and the tracial state space of the complexification. In the second part, I characterize the multiplicativity of certain Schur operators and discuss the relevant problems.
