My talk is on Quaternion algebras. We give the definition of quaternion and split quaternion algebras, splitting fields and norms of elements. After that conics associated with quaternion algebras will be discussed. Then two classical theorems from the 1930s will be mentioned: a theorem of Witt related to associated conics and a theorem of Albert that determines a criterion for the tensor product of two quaternion algebras to be a division algebra.
