ACAA Results: Volleyball/ Basketball UNB Saint John Seawolves

This weekend in sports for The Seawolves our Women's volleyball match versus UKC Blue Devils was postponed due to inclement weather but not to worry! The match will be rescheduled.
As for our Men's volleyball team, they hit the road to take on the Saint Thomas Tommies and the result was a 3-0 win against their rivals! Luke O'Grady planted a solid 13 kills for the Seawolves and Peter Banks contributed 9 kills. Nick Fraser added 11 digs and Setter Patrick Kendall came through with 34 assists. In the ACAA Conference the Men's team is currently tied for 2nd place. Good job fellas!
In Men's and Women's Basketball, the Seawolves traveled to Mount Allison University to challenge the Mounties:
Although our Women's team was defeated they battled well in play. Megan Baisley scored 10 points, with Emily Fitzpatrick coming close with 9 points as well as 9 rebounds. The result was 63-50 in favor of the Mounties. The next scheduled game will be Saturday January 14th hosted by MSVU, 2:00pm.
Men's basketball took a loss this weekend versus the Mounties, but not without some points on the board! Keegan Gray led our Seawolves with 12 points and 6 rebounds, Liam Sipkema wasn't far behind with 11 points. The next match will be against MSVU on Saturday January 14th at 4:00pm.
Our Women's Basketball team currently sits in 5th place and Men's Basketball is tied for 6th place with UKC in the ACAA Conference.
