Impact of Giving

We are humbled by the support of UNB alumni on Giving Tuesday. We had hoped for a record-breaking day of online giving – we not only broke our record, thanks to alumni like you we more than doubled our previous record of individual Giving Tuesday donations. Thank you!

Donors supported a variety of projects, with gifts to the Alumni Legacy Scholarship totaling $7,240. Thanks to the generosity of Andy and Ann Devereaux, that money will be matched – that’s a total of $14,480 in valuable student support.

As part of the on-campus Giving Tuesday activities, I had the opportunity to meet with scholarship and bursary students at our video thank you booths. It was a pleasure to have our students give their time as part of our celebration. Every student I spoke with was grateful to their donors, and even at a busy time of year they wanted to take the time to record a thank you message.
