UNB young alumna, Jordyn Chevarie (BHS’19), has received an Award of Excellence from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) for achieving the highest aggregate mark in Canada on the 2019 certification exam for radiological technology.

CAMRT is the national professional association and certifying body for radiological, nuclear medicine, and magnetic resonance imaging technologists and radiation therapists.

Chevarie graduated with distinction in 2019 from UNB Saint John’s Bachelor of Health Sciences in radiography program. The program is offered in collaboration with the Saint John Regional Hospital and The Moncton Hospital.

Since graduating from UNB, Chevarie is now working with the Horizon Health Network at the Moncton Hospital as a radiography technologist.

“I want to extend a big congratulations to Jordyn on her achievement,” says Pam Henderson, instructor with UNB’s Bachelor of Health Sciences partner program, The Moncton Hospital School of Radiologic Technology.  “Throughout the program, she performed at the top of her class and was part of a very strong cohort. She puts all her effort into everything she does. I’m proud Jordyn chose Radiological Technology as her profession.”
