Holland comes to UNB Saint John from Mark R. Isfeld in Comox Valley on Vancouver Island in British Columbia.

Holland's athletic achievements are nothing short of impressive, including winning a silver medal for curling in the B.C. Winter Games and finishing fifth in volleyball at the B.C. Summer Games. As the captain, he led his small-town club team to 7th provincially and 21st nationally. He is also a four-time provincial qualifier in B.C. summer swimming and a three-time North Island champion in high school volleyball.

"Volleyball is the ultimate team sport," said Holland. “It requires everyone to work together and build relationships to be successful.”

"I have learned many important lessons from volleyball: the value of hard work, positivity, and communication,” he added.

Ready for a new adventure Holland is excited to see what kind of opportunities the east coast lifestyle will provide. "UNB Saint John is one of the few marine biology programs in the country that interests me, and I'm excited to discover where the program could take me,” he said.

Welcome to the Seawolves Family, Henry!
