Men’s Varsity Volleyball Coach Dino Karatzios is more than pleased to receive a 6’3” setter hailing from Coley’s Point, Bay Roberts, Newfoundland. Ryan Littlejohn impressed Dino with tapes of his tournament play and impressive list of accomplishments. Accolades include, but are certainly not limited too: Senior male Bay Roberts High School Athlete of the year 2018, Provincial Team NL Captain 2018 and NLVA 2019 Senior Player of the year.

“Ryan has played at a very high level the last few years and has had a lot of success wherever he went.”

Dino see’s that Ryan is down to earth, while still motivated to learn. He is anticipating an increase in internal competition within the Seawolves roster for the starting setting position with Ryan’s addition, which can only serve to increase the calibre of play.

The New-Found land athlete is an honors student looking to continue his volleyball career whilst working towards a degree in mechanical engineering. Drawn to New Brunswick from previous summer vacations in the province, he looks forward to smaller class sizes and a more personal learning experience. He finds volleyball to be the answer no matter how he is feeling and believes it has given him self confidence and leadership skills.

“Volleyball has been a part of my life for 8 years now and I’ve loved every minute of it”

He shares his love of the game with his father, who’s support for his and his brothers hard work has propelled him to the position he approaches today.

With his first season with the Seawolves approaching, Ryan hopes to improve his vertical jump, foot speed and deceptive abilities against rival blockers. Things are only looking up for the men’s squad this season with yet another great addition.

Welcome to the Seawolves family Ryan!
