UNB faculty members to be honoured at graduation ceremony

Graduation is a time of joy and recognition, bringing together communities to celebrate the achievements of students and faculty. This year, at The University of New Brunswick’s (UNB) graduation ceremony in Fredericton on Thursday, Oct. 24, we will honour the distinguished recipients of the Dr. Allan P. Stuart Memorial Award for Excellence in Teaching and UNB’s Award for Excellence in Research.
Dr. Allan P. Stuart Memorial Award for Excellence in Teaching
Two UNB faculty members will be recognized with the Dr. Allan P. Stuart Memorial Award for Excellence in Teaching.
- Amanda Benjamin, professor in the faculty of education, Fredericton campus.
- Jae Ogilvie, assistant dean and teaching professor in the faculty of forestry and environmental management, Fredericton campus.
UNB Award for Excellence in Research
The UNB Award for Excellence in Research honours faculty who demonstrate outstanding research, scholarly or creative achievements at UNB. This award promotes and celebrates a culture that nurtures intellectual curiosity and innovation.
- Kelly Scott-Storey, professor and the assistant dean of the bachelor of nursing program on the Fredericton campus and the UNB-Humber Collaborative bachelor of nursing program in the faculty of nursing.
