Our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion and condemnation of all forms of racism goes beyond our institution’s values and extends to our strategic vision and our actions. We have formed a Presidential Standing Committee on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Human Rights and developed an Institutional Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan. We know there is still work to be done toward creating and sustaining a truly equitable, diverse, and inclusive environment for our community and are committed to furthering this goal, together.

Flannery Jewellers will be not be re-opening in the Student Union Building (SUB), as they had given notice that they would be leaving earlier this year. Flannery Jewellers have had a long, positive relationship with UNB which in many ways, makes the public comments that were made even more distressing to us, however, we also recognize that it was not the business owner who had made these statements.
