The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of New Brunswick Fredericton invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to commence on July 1, 2015 or as negotiated. The Department is seeking applicants in the area of Analysis, in particular Dynamical Systems. Applicants should have broad interests in pure and applied mathematics, compatible with the research currently being done in the Department. Potential for interdisciplinary collaboration will be an important consideration.
 
Candidates must have a doctoral degree, postdoctoral experience, and demonstrated excellence in research. Evidence of or demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels is required. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a wide range of courses in mathematics and to develop a vigorous research program with external funding.
