Students place first and fourth in Science Atlantic math talk competition

Department of Mathematics & Statistics undergraduate students Tony Wu and Brandon Doherty came first and fourth, respectively, in the math student talk competition at the Science Atlantic conference in Saint John (Oct 3-5, 2014).
Tony and Brandon also placed fourth as a team in the math contest on Friday. The department also fielded two other teams who did well: Marco Merlini and David Ackerson, and (unofficially) Kadie Wright and Harrison Peters.
