Chris Abbandonato (a recent Statistics Masters Degree recipient and current Math & Stats stipend instructor at UNB) has been busy helping students at Nashwaaksis Middle School investigate "The Secret Behind Flinging Elastic Bands". Their science club project was recently featured on the front page of the Toronto Star, as well as CBC television.
