My name is Grant Frey and I am a second year MBA.SRM student from Barrie, Ontario. I came to the University of New Brunswick after completing my BBA at Nipissing University because the MBA.SRM program allowed me to continue my education in business and combine it with my passion for sport and recreation. My plans are to one day work for a professional sports franchise and establish myself within that industry. Although my master’s degree does not require a designated research project, most of my course work and independent research has been focused on the labour relations in profession sports leagues. I hope to find an internship with a professional sports organization to be able to get my foot in the door. I am always looking to learn more about the sporting industry and am actively encouraged to think outside of the box by my academic supervisor Greg Duquette.
