About the presenters

Glyn Jones is the General Manager of the EHS Division of Bravo Target Safety in Calgary, Alberta. He is a consulting Occupational Health and Safety specialist and leadership coach with almost 40 years of experience. Glyn is a chemical engineer by training, a Professional Engineer, and holds a master’s degree specializing in occupational health and safety.
He holds numerous professional certifications and is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP)®. Glyn has been providing curriculum support and teaching at the University of New Brunswick occupational health and safety program since 2008.

Darrel Nickerson has worked in the safety industry for nearly three decades. He is a Safety Consultant and Educator with DKN Safety Services and teaches in UNB's Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety program.
Darrel currently serves on the BCRSP Governing Board and received a 2024 Safety Star award from WorkSafeNB in recognition of his longstanding commitment to improving health and safety across the province.
