"The thing I like most about being a health and safety professional is helping others. As I progressed through my career, I've worked very hard at trying to help others, especially those in our profession — mentoring them, providing what knowledge I've been able to gain over the years through safety or leadership, and provide that to them to help them grow and make sure that they can pass that information along to others and make sure that everyone goes home safe." —Darrel Nickerson
