Congratulations to UNB undergrads Brandon Doherty or Jack O'Connor, who were the second place team at
Science Atlantic's 2015 Mathematics Competition, which was held at the recent
Atlantic Universities Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science conference hosted by Acadia University.
Courtney Allen and Jacob Bilby also placed respectably in the competition, and Brandon Doherty's talk, titled Global Dimensions of Endomorphism Rings for Modules over Invariant Rings of Finite Matrix Groups, was well-received.
