Graduate Seminar Differential Forms in Topology and Geometry

We give a brief overview of differential forms and their properties, including Stoke’s theorem. The definition of de Rham cohomology is then given. This is followed by the presentation of two applications: the derivation of the Hopf invariant and a proof of the Gauss Bonnet theorem using the method of moving frames.
