phishing emailRecently reported at UNB, the latest phishing scam is coming via what appears to be a Microsoft email.

The email informs recipients—supposedly on behalf of Microsoft—of updates to the ‘Microsoft Services Agreement’ and ‘Microsoft Privacy Statement’. It then gives instructions to click on a link to see the updates and says that failure to do so will result in having your email account suspended.

If you’ve received an email that seems suspicious, do not respond or click any links; instead, delete it and report it to the ITS Help Desk immediately.
