Trying to send a file too large for email? No problem – with UNB Secure File Drop, you can send anything up to 512mb to your colleagues, classmates, or coworkers at UNB. UNB File Drop isn’t only useful for those on campus; it can also be used by anyone off-campus sending large files to a UNB student, faculty, or staff member. As long as the recipient has a UNB account, they can receive files via File Drop. File Drop doesn’t just send your files and forget about them, either. Once the files are on their way, a notification is sent to the recipient via email, as well as to their ‘My Notifications’ section within the myUNB Portal. The receiver will then have a week to view and download the file before it is removed. How do I get started? It’s easy. Just visit www.unb.ca/its and click Send Large Files, then fill in the required details.
