Did you know you can recover deleted mail from the Deleted Items folder in your UNB Outlook mailbox?

No? Well, let us show you how!

You have a whole two weeks to go back to your Deleted Items folder and recover an email you forgot you needed but accidentally deleted.

Now, it changes depending on what program you are using.

Using Outlook 2010:

The ‘Recover Deleted Items’ is located on the Folder tab

After clicking on Recover Deleted Items a pop-up window will appear with a list of emails you can “undelete.” Meeting requests will also appear in this list.

Need to select multiple items? Just use shift and control.

After selecting all the items you would like to recover,  press the Recover Items button and voila! Your deleted items will be restored.

Using OWA (Outlook Web Access) accessed via your myUNB Portal:

After logging into the myUNB Portal, select ‘Go to my email and calendar’.

See your Deleted Items folder? Right click it and select Recover Deleted Items at the bottom.

A pop-up window will appear showing you all the items you can recover. Need to recover multiple items? Use Shift and Control.

Select the Recover Items button. .

Once you do, choose a destination for your recovered items. You can choose an existing folder for your items, or click Create New Folder and save your recovered emails in the new folder.

After you’ve recovered your items, they will safely be returned to your mailbox and at the tip of your fingers.
