There are few things worse than discovering a virus on your computer at the end of the semester when papers are due and there is studying to be done.

Don’t worry, the ITS Help Desk is there to help.Get IT Help

Since January 2004, the ITS Help Desk has offered a Mobile Support Program for student-owned laptops and later, mobile devices. Visit them in the Harriet Irving Library – Learning Commons between 8 am – 10 pm daily (unless the HIL is closed) and they will assist you with:

  • Virus and Malware removal
  • Connecting your laptop or mobile device to the UNB wireless network
  • UNB-supported services (such as email client configuration, web browsers, etc.)
  • Setting up your UNB email on your mobile device
  • Minitab statistical software installation
  • And more…

The mobile support program officially supports both Windows and Mac laptops on a best-effort basis. Students must be present during support and you will be required to sign a waiver before any service is done to your device. If the Help Desk staff aren’t able to help you, they will provide you with recommendations and possible solutions.
