ITS is pleased to announce that last week, the faculty of Kinesiology and UNBF Libraries were successfully moved to the new connectEd environment. These two groups were the first of 91 faculties and departments on the UNB Fredericton campus scheduled to be migrated over the summer.

connectEd Progress BarsCheck out what one faculty member had to say about his move to connectEd:

“I attended the connectEd Announcement on May 31 in Tilley and was very skeptical of the migration process and the ambitious schedule. On Monday morning, June 4, I was very impressed with the team of people working on this. Their dedication, knowledge, and problem solving skills were impressive indeed…. and they work very efficiently under pressure! The hardest part for me, is adapting from an IT environment that I know and can work efficiently in, to one that is new. I’m trusting that this is 'short-term pain'. Congratulations to an impressive start.”

– Jeff Burkard, Director of Undergraduate Studies, Faculty of Kinesiology

Want to stay in the loop about the connectEd campus migrations? ITS has created connectEd progress bars that can be found on  InsideUNB and the ITS website. Each week, these bars will be updated to give you a quick look at how many departments and faculties have been migrated to connectEd on both the Fredericton and Saint John campuses.
