Looking for a good book to read?

In this month’s ITS Staff Favourites, we asked a few of our staff to share their favourite novel or series they’ve read in the past year. Here’s what they had to say:

booksAmy Urquhart (Client Support Specialist – Web):

"The Steig Larsson Trilogy (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl who played with Fire & The Girl who kicked the Hornet's Nest). These are the some of the best mystery books I've read in a while, the author created intriguing and original characters with Sweden as their playground.  Once you get past the first 80 pages or so in the first book you're hooked, it keeps you guessing until the last page, and even though the movie is as good as the book - I recommend reading before viewing.”

Lance Redbourne (Systems Analyst):

“I read a lot, so it is hard to pick one favourite book or author, but I would say Jean Auel’s Earth’s Children series or Terry Brooks’ Shannara Trilogy are my favourites (at the moment).”

Terry Soucy (Systems Analyst):

Rainbows End by Vernor Vinge. It was the winner of the Hugo Award a few years ago and is an excellent SciFi book.”
