UNB Saint John library, information technology and facilities staff have been busy this past summer helping to ensure our students, and future students, have the best experience possible.

Just a couple of the areas where improvements have been made over the summer months:

  • Hazen Hall 326 has 24 brand new touch screen computers;
  • The computer lab in K.C. Irving Hall 102 has 30 new chairs;
  • K.C. Irving Hall has an entirely new audio visual equipment; and
  • The computer science lab in Hazen Hall has a fresh coat of paint as well comfortable chairs.

Amongst these physical renovations to the Saint John campus, almost a dozen used Dell desktop computers have been donated to the Hampton Food Bank.

These computers, anywhere between four and six years old, contain basic operating systems, antivirus packages, office software and an Internet browser.

"These computers come in handy for kids to do their homework or to offer skills training for adults," explains Andrea Bainbridge, manager of Information Services and Systems' professional client services.
