We would like to thank the UNB community for their patience and cooperation during the past few days with respect to the water main break on the UNB Fredericton campus. Our crews worked diligently to address the issue and the broken water main has been repaired, however as a precautionary measure, we are planning to repair another section of pipe this evening.

Effective at 9 p.m., Marshall d'Avray Hall, the Aitken University Centre and the BMO building will be closed and are expected to reopen for business hours tomorrow morning. St. Thomas University will not be affected by this planned repair.

We would like to remind people that the boil water order is still in effect for:

  • Aitken University Centre
  • Marshall d'Avray Hall
  • J. B. O'Keefe Centre (St. Thomas University)
  • Vanier Hall (St. Thomas University)
  • George Martin Hall - hot water only (St. Thomas University)

Signage has been posted on the affected buildings. We will advise when the order has been lifted.

Once again, we thank everyone for their cooperation.
