UNB s Wu Conference Centre first university facility to win Supplier of the Year

When the Wu Conference Centre was announced as the Supplier of the Year award winner, people were impressed. Not only does the facility, located at UNB Fredericton, provide outstanding services, the honour marks the first time a university has won a Meeting Professionals International (Atlantic Chapter) award.
Anyone who has been inside the Wu Conference Centre knows how special the venue is. The dedicated staff work diligently to ensure every need is met and events and conferences run smoothly.
Michelle McNeil, senior director of UNB Conference Services, was thrilled the Wu Centre received such a distinguished award.
“This is a very significant award for UNB and for Fredericton and we’re excited to share this news with our colleagues, partners, clients, and potential clients,” she said.
Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is the largest meeting and event industry association worldwide. This is only the second time an MPI award has come to Fredericton.
“Our brand mantra is ‘Value, service, flexibility,’” she said. “We take this seriously and pass each of our decisions through this lens to make sure each experience is exceptional.”
Everyone at UNB Conference Services is dedicated to meeting the needs of its clients, who come from both the university community and beyond.
