The University of New Brunswick (UNB) is celebrating 40 years of Early Childhood Education at UNB Fredericton on Friday, Sept. 25 from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Early Childhood Centre located in Marshall d’Avray Hall. The event will consist of an afternoon of family activities, the planting of a rose garden, and a late afternoon barbeque and celebration cake.

The Early Childhood Education program and the demonstration classroom were established within UNB’s Faculty of Education in 1975. For 40 years, Early Childhood Education has provided exceptional and transformative learning experiences for hundreds of children and early childhood educators, now teaching in diverse roles across a range of educational sites.

This free, public event offers the opportunity to meet the current dean, faculty, teachers, staff and children at the Early Childhood Centre. No registration is required, but RSVP’s are appreciated. Please email eccentre@unb.ca
