Poets Peter Norman and Ali Blythe to read as part of UNB Saint John s Lorenzo Reading Series

Poets Peter Norman and Ali Blythe will read from the gun that starts the race and twoism, respectively on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. in the Faculty-Staff Lounge, Ward Chipman Building.

Peter Norman

Peter Norman is the author of two previous poetry collections: Water Damage and At the Gates of the Theme Park, finalist for a Trillium Poetry Book Award. He has edited over 100 titles by Canadian authors such as Adrienne Clarkson, Marina Endicott and Lawrence Hill. His fiction, poetry, and essays have appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies, including The Walrus and Best Canadian Poetry

Ali Blythe

Ali Blythe 

A graduate of the University of Victoria writing program, Ali Blythe received the Candis Graham Writing Scholarship from the Lambda Foundation and completed a writing residency at the Banff Centre. Poems from twoism have been published in literary journals and anthologies in Canada and Germany. 

The reading is hosted by the Lorenzo Reading Series and supported by the Canada Council for the Arts. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.
