Fusion Saint John recently held a Party with a Purpose at Beaverbrook House celebrating UNB Saint John’s current graduates, alumni and prospective students.

This event provided an opportunity for current graduate students from all disciplines, alumni and prospective students to gather and share stories and experiences.

Recognizing the Saint John campus’s golden anniversary, Hammond River Brewing’s own UNB alumnus, Shane Steeves, brewed a special line of golden ale for the evening.  The name of the brew – Colonel Tucker - was chosen that evening and is available in limited supply at the Saint John Ale House; Britt’s Pub; the Bourbon Quarter; the Barrel’s Head and the Shiretown Publicans.

Ideas were celebrated; relationships built; and delicious food from East Coast Bistro chef/owner alumna Kim Steele was consumed, all while guests enjoyed live music and a Speakeasy Art Series film screening.

The next Party with a Purpose is April 23. Visit www.fusionsaintjohn.ca for details.
