UNB Saint John’s College will celebrate the 2014 graduating class of the Energy Fundamentals for Leaders program on Thursday, June 5. The 14 graduates are the second class since the program started last April.
In partnership with industry and the New Brunswick Department of Energy, the Energy Fundamentals for Leaders program is designed to provide a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the complex energy and related industries to help participants to make informed decisions about energy issues.
Designed for professionals, leaders, and managers at all career levels who work directly or indirectly in the energy sector, Energy Fundamentals for Leaders combines in-class instruction, panels, applied case studies and site visits.
“Our program offers decision makers an opportunity to better understand the impacts of this sector, and the decisions being made, to our today, our tomorrow and our children’s future,” says Robert MacKinnon, Vice-President, UNB Saint John.
Offered by Saint John College, the certificate is an opportunity for those in the energy sector to fully understand and make well-informed decisions regarding energy in this complex sector and the future of New Brunswick.
