BrowZine is a free app delivering thousands of academic journals to your iPad or Android tablet.
With the decline of print, databases have become the primary way publishers deliver journals. But databases are designed for searching, not reading.
BrowZine unites articles from databases into complete journals, then arranges them by subject on a library newsstand.
The result is a revolutionary new way to browse, read and monitor scholarly journals.
Why should you be interested in BrowZine? The new app allows users to select, browse, read and save selected journal articles and email the articles or share via social media.
"This will GREATLY improve my research workflow," says UNB Saint John business professor Greg Fleet. "Access to articles will be faster using BrowZine than using a browser and the library website."
Interested in experiencing BrowZine for yourself? All you have to do is go to Apple app store or Google Play, install BrowZine and choose University of New Brunswick.
