UNB Saint John's business co-op program held its annual "Celebration of Excellence" award luncheon today at Grand Hall in Uptown Saint John.
The co-op program integrates classroom studies with work experience by alternating academic semesters with four-month paid work semesters. Students not only gain work experience and develop great business skills, but also have a chance to network with professionals in their field of interest.
Co-op awards were presented to:
- Glenn Carpenter, co-op student of the year
- Jessica Parsons
- Muhammad Owais
- Kyle Graham. William B. Nase Memorial, co-op work-term report of the year
- Teed Saunders Doyle & Co., co-op employer of the year
Scholarship winners for the following scholarships were also recognized:
- PwC Fellowship in Business
- Several Glenn Carpenter Scholarships
- Several Richard Burpee Scholarships
