UNB computer science hosts annual research expo and lecture

April 11-12 UNB's faculty of computer science will showcase the province's most progressive research in computer science from the public and private sectors along with some impressive student research as well.
UNB's Annual Lecture in Computer Science will be held at the Wu Conference Centre, UNB Fredericton, on Thursday, April 11, at 7pm.
Keynote speaker, Dr. Ming Li, from the University of Waterloo’s David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science, will deliver his talk entitled: Information Distance from a Question to an Answer: building natural language interface for computers, phones, cars, and home electronics.
The 10th Annual Research Expo will be held at the Wu Conference Centre, UNB Fredericton, on Friday, April 12, at 8 a.m.
The panel discussion entitled: Rewards and Challenges of Entrepreneurial Startups will begin with opening remarks from Minister Craig Leonard and the moderator will be Calvin Milbury, president & CEO of New Brunswick Innovation Foundation.
