A UNB Saint John computer science team has placed second in the annual ACM Programming Competition and is headed to the 2012 Northeast North America Regional Final held at Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY, on November 3.
The winning team of Brandon Michael W. Smith, Jessica Mary Blanchard and Alec Dominic Gordon competed in the programming competition on October 12 at Mount Allison University among 20 other Atlantic university teams.
Competing teams always consist of three students; the best two are then invited to compete in the finals.
