UNB's faculty of computer science will host their annual awards dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at the Fredericton Convention Centre.
This year, on top of celebrating its dean's list recipients, winners of student prizes, scholarships, bursaries and other awards, the faculty will also be celebrating 30 years of its co-operative education program - the longest standing program of its kind in Atlantic Canada.
Keynote speakers include Hon. Craig Leonard, minister of energy and mines and MLA for Fredericton-Lincoln, and Marcellus Mindel, head of academic partnerships for the Centre for Advanced Studies at the IBM Canada Software Lab.
All proceeds from the event will go to faculty of computer science's student scholarships.
