UNB Computer Science Professor To Hold Book Launch

Professor Andrew McAllister from UNB's faculty of computer science has published a book titled Unauthorized Access. 

His book launch will be held in Fredericton on Monday, July 9 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., in the UNB Student Union Building Atrium.

Copies of Unauthorized Access can be purchased at the event for $15 (cash only). 

The book is about a young computer programmer who receives an emergency call from his boss at the First Malden Bank after the first successful cyberattack in American banking history scrambles thousands of account records. 

The book is for sale at the UNB Bookstore, Westminster Books, Chapters, and online through Amazon.com.
