Acclaimed author Cynthia Holz to read from her new novel Benevolence

Acclaimed author and former journalist Cynthia Holz will read from her new novel, Benevolence on Friday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. in the Ganong Hall Lecture Theatre on the Saint John campus of UNB.
The Canadian correspondent for Business Week, New York City journalist Cynthia Holz came to Canada in 1976 and stayed. Moving from journalism to fiction, Holz has published a short story collection and four novels – A Good Man, Semi Detached, The Other Side, and Onlyville. Making her home in Toronto, she has been Writer-in-Residence for the Toronto Public Library and a creative writing instructor at Ryerson University.
The reading is hosted by the Lorenzo Reading Series and the UNB Saint John Bookstore, and supported by the Canada Council for the Arts. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.
